New Year's Eve 2012

Every year for the holiday we get together at LaNae's house for some family fun and lots of food. This year was no different!  LaNae made a turkey, spinach and artichoke dip, chili-cheeseburger dip, and a fabulous salsa.  We all chipped in like normal...chips, dips, veggies, gelatin, and chex goop.

After the main feast (cause lets get real....we eat ALL NIGHT) we let the boys play some Wii Basketball while the girls chatted at the table.  After a few games the little girls (I love not being included in that group BTW) were itching to play some Just Dance 4.

Then it was time to kick back for the annual Jodi Vs. LaNae dancing extravaganza!

But the best of the night was when we finally convinced Adam and Kyle to join the dance party and do Istanbul....

We made the guys do 3 dances, Jailhouse Rock and Istanbul twice.  The first time they did Istanbul; Adam was doing the part of the girl (Neil plays this in the video above) and there is some belly-dancing moves...well Adam said how it wasn't fair, until of course he got a perfect score on the move! (Both times he did it in the song!)  I had him pose afterwards for a pic...

As it got to be time for the countdown, LaNae got our traditional Martinelli's Apple Cider and Juice Shots ready to drink.  Leo was sort of a fan....
